مستخلص: This technical report provides an overview and profile of the provision of educational supports and accommodations to students with disabilities in postsecondary programs across the United States. It is based on an analysis of a national survey conducted by the National Center for the Study of Postsecondary Educational Supports at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The sample includes 422 public disability support coordinators (DSCs) working in postsecondary institutions and 193 DSCs from private institutions. Of the sample, 246 DSCs were from two-year or less than two-year institutions and 369 were from four-year institutions. Findings from the survey indicate: (1) students with disabilities have reasonable access to personal counseling and supports in the majority of postsecondary institutions; (2) disability support programs were well prepared to offer testing accommodations; (3) career/vocational assessment and counseling was commonly offered on campuses; (4) job placement services were offered at more than 50 percent of institutions; (5) half of the institutions offered learning center laboratory services on a consistent basis; (6) less than 50 percent of institutions offered disability specific assessments or accessible transport on campus; (7) disability specific scholarships were not often offered; and (8) assistive technology evaluations were rarely offered.
