مستخلص: Career education is an ongoing process which begins at an early age in the life of the child with the development of an awareness of careers and occupations, and proceeds systematically through the stages of exploration, counseling and guidance, training, and job placement. The New Hampshire Supervisory School Union 58 Experimental Schools (ES) project became operational in July 1973, charged with providing students with not only a perceptual enrichment process, but also to affect their career maturity development; providing both in-school and on the job training opportunities which enhance skills development and result in exposure to a variety of work experiences. The CTB/McGraw Hill Career Maturity Inventory (CMI) was used to measure the career maturity development of selected elementary grade students, and conclusions are discussed. (BW)
