No presente estudo pretendeu-se analisar a violência no namoro em estudantes universitários, e avaliar a presença de traços de personalidade da tríade negra e o autocontrolo no surgimento de comportamento agressivos. Nesta investigação, foi criado um questionário sociodemográfico e foram utilizadas várias escalas nomeadamente, o Inventário de Conflitos nas Relações de Namoro entre Adolescentes (CADRI; Wolfe et al., 2001), a escala Tríade Negra versão breve (SD3-Short; Paulhus, 2013) e por fim a escala Breve de Autocontrolo (BSCS; Tangney, Baumeister, & Boone, 2004). Esta amostra é constituída por 214 participantes, sendo que 114 (53.3%) inquiridos são do sexo feminino e 100 (46.7%) são sexo masculino, com idades compreendidas entre os 18 e os 25 anos, sendo a média etária de 21.69 e o desvio padrão de 1.82. Os participantes desta amostra são provenientes da Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, em Lisboa. Os resultados relativos aos testes das hipóteses indicaram que os jovens universitários desta amostra relatam mais violência emocional/verbal. No que diz respeito as vítimas de violência no namoro, constata-se que não há diferenças em termos de sexo. Verifica-se que indivíduos que têm o traço de personalidade maquiavélico e psicopático têm mais tendência para ter comportamentos abusivos numa relação amorosa. Por último, contrariamente ao que se esperava constata-se que o autocontrolo não tem qualquer tipo de influência no surgimento ou não de comportamento agressivos, podendo esse resultado estar relacionado com a sobrevalorização de crenças e normas. Desta forma, este estudo visa esclarecer os novos dados encontrados e a sua importância, no sentido promover futuras intervenções e práticas mais eficazes. |

In the present study aimed to analyze the dating violence on college students, and evaluate the presence of personality traits of dark triad and the self-control in the emergence of aggressive behavior. In this research, a socio-demographic questionnaire was created and were used various scales particular, the scale Conflict in Adolescent Dating Relationships Inventory (CADRI; Wolfe et al, 2001), the Dark Triad of Personality (SD3-Short; Paulhus, 2013) and finally the Brief Self-Control Scale (BSCS; Tangney, Baumeister, & Boone, 2004). This sample consists of 214 participants, with 114 (53.3%) respondents are female and 100 (46.7%) were male, aged between 18 and 25 years, with an average age of 21.69 and standard deviation of 1.82. Participants in this sample are from Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies, Lisbon. The results for the hypothesis tests indicated that the university students of this sample report more emotional/verbal violence. Regarding the victims of dating violence, it appears that there are no differences in terms of sex. It appears that individuals who have the trait of machiavellian and psychopathic personality are more likely to have abusive behavior in a loving relationship. Finally, contrary to what was expected it appears that the self does not have any influence on the appearance or not of aggressive behavior, can this result be related to the overvaluation of beliefs and norms. Thus, this study aims to clarify the new data found and their importance in order to promote future interventions and best practices. |
