| الوصف: | 106 This study focuses on a simulation analysis of online auction for freight transportation. This approach can assist on the development of sourcing decision to reduce the transportation cost. We simulate the auction operating mechanism between online and offline. The bidding strategy formulates different characteristic agents of including aggressive; mixed and passive. We apply auction mechanism and agent bidding strategies models to create bidding price information. Our results indicate that the online auctions can reduce transportation costs for buyers, by providing a more competitive auction environment with an equal opportunity for bidders and transparency process, but it decreases long-term profits for bidders resulting in a less competitive environment. Additionally, the partnership between buyer and supplier. We develop a simulation model to help the buyer to reduce the cost and maintain agent’s profit. With creation of the win-win situation in the long term. |
