| الوصف: | Objective: To identify the factors related to satisfaction with the residency program among residents in professional health care.Method: Cross-sectional study with 134 residents of southern Brazil that used a questionnaire for characterization and aspects related to satisfaction with the residency program. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistics.Results: The residents were more satisfied with their coworkers and less satisfied with leisure, sleep and rest opportunities.
