| الوصف: | Histiocytic sarcoma (HS) is an extremely rare non-Langerhans histiocyte disorder of unknown origin. Recently, biomarkers for the confirmation of HS diagnosis have been reported. This report describes a case of primary HS of the central nervous system with description of the pathological anatomy. The patient was older than those in other such cases reported in the literature and presented with unspecific symptoms. This case highlights the difficulty in diagnosis and importance of suspicion of HS. |
