الوصف: Su Lin, the first live panda brought to the United States. The charismatic panda cub lived at the nearby Brookfield Zoo from February 1937 until their death in April 1938, at which time an autopsy revealed that Su Lin-widely believed to be female-was in fact a male. Su Lin's body was eventually sent to the Field Museum for study and display, first in a standalone case inside Stanley Field Hall, and later as part of the larger mammal collection.
