الوصف: |
Decorated with triangular motifs in four concentric circles. The disc-shaped form of Akan pectorals was perhaps inspired by Sahelian gold work such as the famous pectoral of Rao. Smaller discs may have been intended to imitate North African gold dinars, which were once known to the Akan and highly prized by them. |
