During the year 2022, the main mission of the Monitores en Saalud social service project was to support the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in a safe return to the facilities after the COVID-19 pandemic. We were participants in the development of strategies for the safe return to face-to-face classes, in order to provide greater security and support to students, teachers and academics. This was possible due to the implementation of sanitary filters, in which antibacterial gel was provided to everyone who entered the university facilities (including the General Rectory), it was monitored that everyone wore face masks and their temperatures were taken. In addition to this, the social service interns in said project, we carried out a survey that consisted of two phases: an online phase and another in person. In this survey, questions were asked about physical and mental health, so that later, in person, they could carry out a general medical examination and carry out a seroepidemiological antibody test, in order to find out if the participants had presented COVID-19 disease during the previous six months. to the test and, if so, whether they developed antibodies. Likewise, it contributed to the government of Mexico City, to participate in vaccination campaigns in macro venues such as the Center for Naval Studies in Health Sciences (CENCIS Marina) and Pepsi Center. We also went as volunteers in the Puntos de Innovación, Libertad, Arte, Educación y Saberes (PILARES) programs in different city halls in order to offer talks and health fairs.
