الوصف: This study aims to explore how feedback from others can influence our performance on tasks, specifically in relation to self-control. In this experiment, participants will be asked to complete two different self-control tasks: a Stroop task and a Figure-Drawing task. Before the tasks, participants will be surveyed on their self-efficacy regarding self-control, as well as their current mood and energy levels. After completing the Stroop Task, participants will receive a report on their performance including their accuracy rate and average reaction time. In the positive feedback condition, participants will be told that they exceeded at the task in comparison to other participants. Conversely, participants in the negative feedback condition will be told that their score was below average in comparison to other participants. Participants will then be asked to complete a Figure-Drawing task. Unbeknownst to participants, this task will be impossible to complete and we will be measuring the time spent on the task ...
