الوصف: Klaudija Kiudelytė. The effects of different physiotherapy programs on gait quality, static and dynamic balance in stroke patients. Master’s theses. Supervisor – doc. dr. Gražina Krutulytė. Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Medical Academy, Faculty of Nursing, Department of Rehabilitation. Kaunas, 2020; 68 p. The aim: to evaluate effects of different Physiotherapy programs on gait quality, static and dynamic balance in stroke patients. Tasks: 1. Assess different physiotherapy program’s effect on static balance for stroke patients. 2. Assess different physiotherapy program’s effect on dynamic balance for stroke patients. 3. Assess different physiotherapy program’s effect on gait quality for stroke patients. Methodology: participant’s static and dynamic balance and gait quality was evaluated using Zebris FDM-T treadmill. The study design was a pretest and posttest, including 15 units average of physiotherapy and 6 units average of Circuit Class therapy and Treadmill Training. Physiotherapy durated 45 – 60 minutes and additional Circuit Class therapy and Treadmill Training covered 30 – 45 min. Participants: all participants were patients in the Kulautuva rehabilitation hospital. Only patients, who were older than 25 years old and had ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke were included to this research. As well as patients who had over 3 points by Lovett scale. Conclusions: 1. Static balance significantly improved more using Circuit Class therapy than Treadmill Training in stroke patients. 2. Dynamic balance significantly improved more using Treadmill Training than Circuit Class therapy in stroke patients. 3. Gait quality by most aspects significantly improved more using Circuit Class therapy than Treadmill Training in stroke patients.
