Tilapia farming is a consolidated and expanding production chain. In accordance with the production growth and acceleration of aquaculture, its intensification exposes farmed fish to stressful conditions that can lead to the development of diseases and economic losses. The use of probiotics is an alternative to strengthen fish production so that there is no need for antibiotics, which are used in an excessive and often unnecessary way. Thus, this work aimed to analyze the zootechnical performance of Nile tilapia in a water recirculation system using different probiotics. A total of 800 Nile tilapia post-larvae were cultured for 49 days in a water system, consisting of 16 experimental units of 40L of useful volume that had the addition of two probiotic products containing strains of the genera Bacillus, Enterococcus, Lactobacillus, Pediococcus, and Bifidumbacterium. Water quality parameters were daily monitored. The data obtained was subjected to a 5% probability. The results of final weight, weight gain, average daily weight gain, specific growth rate, final biomass, and biomass gain did not show significant differences between the treatments. Regarding the survival parameter, treatment with strains of the genera Bacillus, Bifidumbacterium, Enterococcus, and Lactobacillus showed a statistical difference (p<0.05), and it was observed that no fish died during the entire experiment. It is concluded that the use of probiotics is recommended for the cultivation of Nile tilapia in a water recirculation system in this growth phase. ; A tilapicultura é uma cadeia produtiva consolidada e em expansão. Em conformidade ao crescimento da produção e aceleração da aquicultura, sua intensificação expõe os peixes de cultivo a condições estressantes que podem levar ao desenvolvimento de enfermidades e perdas econômicas.
