| الوصف: | The transition process of knowledge evaluation of students with the traditional exams on the test methods has many positive aspects. However, along with the advantages, tests have significant negative points which lie in the fact that haste in the preparation of tests, no tests for reliability and validity, lead to the fact that the test task may have different decision criteria, which will lead to inconsistent answers. Thus, instead of a reasoned search for the truth students have to be engaged in guessing: thinking of the respondents focused on the reflection of the logic of the drafters of the test for guessing the answer. The article analyzes the tests of General educational legal competence (TGELC), which are implemented for selection of students for training in a magistracy on a speciality 081 “Law”. Revealed that not all tests apply only to the information that is contained in texts; refuted the allegation that the decision of test tasks does not involve the possession of some special subject knowledge or terminology; it is proved that the number of test items requires the possession of logical skills and knowledge of the science of logic. ; Перехід процесу оцінювання знань студентів з традиційних іспитів на тестові методи має багато позитивних моментів. Основна мета роботи полягає у логіко-методичному аналізі завдань тестів загальної навчальної правничої компетентності (ТЗНПК). Авторами було встановлено негативні моменти тестування. Встановлено, що це приводить до того, що тестове завдання може мати різні критерії рішення отримання суперечливих відповідей. Таким чином, замість обґрунтованого пошуку істини студенти повинні займатися вгадуванням: мислення респондентів спрямоване на рефлексію логіки укладачів тесту для вгадування відповіді. В статті проаналізовані ТЗНПК, які впроваджуються для відбору студентів на навчання в магістратурі за спеціальністю 081 «Право».
