الوصف: We aimed to describe the glycaemic trajectory and define characteristics associated with suboptimal glycaemic control in the type 2 diabetes clinic. Higher glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1c) at 1 year was associated with higher baseline HbA1c, concurrent anti‐depressant or antipsychotic medication, higher bodyweight and low treatment adherence. These characteristics may help identify patients unlikely to attain HbA1c treatment targets and be better served by a different model of care.
