| الوصف: | Introduction: Toxoplasmosis is an infectious disease whose main transmission routes are oral and congenital. Objectives: List the cases of toxoplasmosis in Amazonas in a retrospective period of five years. Methodology: This is a retrospective, descriptive study of public data collection. Results: From January 2019 to December 2023, 386 cases of toxoplasmosis were reported with seven deaths. The year in which there was the highest record of infection due to this disease was 2023 with 144 cases (37.3%) and in that same year there was the highest record of deaths (4 deaths). There was no significant difference in relation to the month of the year with the highest number of registrations, with the exception of December, which was the lowest in all years. There was also a predominance of cases in females (58%) and mixed race (64.8%). The most affected age group was individuals under 1 year of age, with 62.6%, the vast majority being under 6 months (88.6%). Conclusion: Vaccination is still the main means of preventing toxoplasmosis. ; Introducción: La toxoplasmosis es una enfermedad infecciosa cuyas principales vías de transmisión son la oral y la congénita. Objetivos: Enumerar los casos de toxoplasmosis en Amazonas en un período retrospectivo de cinco años. Metodología: Se trata de un estudio descriptivo, retrospectivo, de recopilación de datos públicos. Resultados: De enero de 2019 a diciembre de 2023 se notificaron 386 casos de toxoplasmosis con siete muertes. El año en el que hubo mayor registro de contagios por esta enfermedad fue 2023 con 144 casos (37,3%) y en ese mismo año hubo el mayor registro de defunciones (4 defunciones). No hubo diferencia significativa con relación al mes del año con mayor número de matriculaciones, a excepción de diciembre que fue el más bajo de todos los años. También hubo predominio de casos en el sexo femenino (58%) y mestizo (64,8%).
