| الوصف: | Psudofilamentous algae of the family Desmidiaceae frequently appear in the periphyton, however, studies with this group of algae in the Amazonian environments are scarce. This study aimed to identify and to report the taxonomical description of the pseudofilamentous desmids genera with periphytic occurrence in the Curuá-Una reservoir, Santarém, PA. A total of six samples of periphytic algae were collected on aquatic macrophytes were analyzed. Nine taxa were registered and distributed in six genera, Bambusina Kütz. Ex Kütz, Desmidium Agardh ex. Ralfs, Hyalotheca Ehr. ex Ralfs, Onychonema Wall., Spondylosium Bréb. ex Kütz and Groenbladia Teiling. Among the registered taxa, two, Groenbladia undulata (Nordst). Först. var. undulata and Spondylosium pulchrum (Bailey) Archer var. pulchrum are a new record for Pará State.Keywords: Desmids; Amazon region; periphyton; taxonomy. ; Os gêneros de algas pseudofilamentosos da família Desmidiaceae são frequentemente registrados no perifiton, no entanto, são escassos os estudos com este grupo de algas nos ambientes amazônicos. O presente estudo teve o objetivo de identificar e apresentar a descrição taxonômica dos gêneros desmídias pseudofilamentosas com ocorrência perifítica no reservatório de Curuá-Una, Santarém, PA. Foram analisadas seis amostras de algas perifíticas coletadas sobre macrófitas aquáticas. Um total de nove táxons foi registrado, estando distribuídos em seis gêneros, Bambusina Kütz. ex Kütz., Desmidium Agardh ex Ralfs, Hyalotheca Ehr. ex Ralfs, Onychonema Wall., Spondylosium Bréb. ex Kütz. e Groenbladia Teiling. Entre os táxons registrados, dois são novos registros para o estado do Pará, Groenbladia undulata (Nordst).
