الوصف: "Painting with natural earth colors is not only a long tradition to Indian painters, but continues, as shown in this photograph taken with workshop participants on Van Day, as a major arts apprach to the study of American Indian cultures. Here, Mary Wing, Music specialist, of the Phoenix Area Art Van, works with two other Phoenix workshop people: Sister Leona, Chairman of the Art Department at St. John's Indian School, Gila River Reservation, Arizona, and Barbara Doutrich, teacher with the Phoenix Art Van. Carol Fraizier Aiken, Paiute Tribe, also taught three one-week sessions in painting with earth colors as well as coordinating a major two-day group workshop for the 8 Northern Pueblo Head Start teachers in sculptural mural making with earth colors for Indian Children."
