| الوصف: | This work examines the relationship between the evolution of the Chilean labor market and the mechanism and processes that reproduce poverty. It does so within the context of the new development model, inspired in neo-liberalism, currently being followed in Chile. The author contends that, even though both phenomena are strongly correlated, the highly heterogeneous nature of poverty at the regional level (in particular the BioBío Region) cannot be explained without specifically analyzing the modes of capital accumulation and the corresponding forms of regulation at the level. ; En este trabajo se examina la relación entre la evolución del mercado laboral en Chile y los mecanismos y procesos de reproducción de la pobreza, en el contexto del nuevo modelo de desarrollo de inspiración neoliberal implementado en ese país. El autor sostiene la tesis de que si bien entre ambos fenómenos existe una fuerte correlación, el carácter fuertemente heterogéneo de la pobreza en el plano regional (Región del Bíobío, en particular) no puede explicarse sin analizar de manera específica las modalidades de la acumulación de capital y las formas de regulación correspondiente en ese mismo plano. |
