The experience was based on the design and implementation of a didactic sequence from the cultural and natural heritage for the teaching-learning of wave phenomena, specifically waves, reflection, refraction and diffraction. Because the need arose to create a sequence where students could understand in depth the subject from the resources of the environment such as the sun, the river, the radio station, musical instruments which are sources of wave transmission. This experience is focused on a quantitative oriented interpretative paradigm, with an action-research methodology using observation and documentary review techniques. After implementing a didactic sequence, in some cases understanding of the topic was observed and in others there were some difficulties in interpreting the resources of the environment and relating it to the topic. However, there was motivation, enthusiasm and it was possible to stimulate the interpretation with the reality and its environment based on the wave phenomena and how they are presented in their daily life. ; La experiencia se basó en el diseño e implementación de un secuencia didáctica desde el patrimonio cultural y natural para la enseñanza- aprendizaje de los fenómenos ondulatorios, especificamente ondas, reflexión, refracción y difracción. Debido a que surgio la necesidad de realizar una secuencia donde los estudiantes, pudieran comprender en profundidad la temática desde los recursos del entorno como, el sol, el río, la emisora, los instrumentos musicales las cuales son fuentes de transmisicón de ondas. Esta experiencia se enfoca en un paradigma interpretativo orientado en lo cualitativo con una metodología de investigación-acción con técnicas de observación, registro de actividades y la revisón documental. Después de implementar una secuencia didáctica se observó en algunos casos comprensión del tema y en otros se presentó algunas dificultades para poder interpretar los recursos del entorno y relacionarla con la tematica.
