Maestría en Enfermería ; The nurses’ process is a systematic, humanistic, dynamic, flexible, interactive and dynamic method who bring the care of the real or potential problems in the individual, familiar o community responses, getting scientific foundation of nursing. In that way, the professional of this discipline performs an indispensable role in the execution of the health caring who are provide inside and outside of health centers. Objective. Perform a personalized caring plan to a patient with enterocutaneous fistula emerged as a compilation of post-operatory open cholecystectomy and abdominal sepsis. Method. A systematic analyze of the presented post-operatory condition were done to give theoretical support to the ailing, also, an individual valuing getting the valuation guide of the Macro Theory of self-care deficit of Dorothea E. Orem as a base; finally, the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA), Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC) and Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC) were the starting point to effect an analyze, selection and priorization of the identified nurses’ diagnosis and the application of the care plan. Results. A caring plan was executed from the six prioritized diagnosis where it was achieved keeping the nutritional intake from the parental nutrition ministration. Using the Orem’s proposal compensatory care was offered when the patient's respiratory status was treated and keeping patent airway as well as fluid balance and timely wound care. Conclusions.
