| الوصف: | International audience ; Since of the transformation of international trade and the revolution of containerization, the port has moved spatially away from the city. If in the big port cities there is a gradually functionnal disconnection between the city and its port, what is the situation in the medium port city ? Firstly, we propose a definition and a typology of the medium port city in Europe. Secondly, the words analysis of more twenty interviews conducted with the main stakeholders in six european ports (Le Havre, Dunkerque, Nantes-Saint-Nazaire, Klaipeda, Kotka-Hamina and Gdynia) has made it possible to perform a functional characterization of the european medium-sized port city in a territorial framework (governance). ; Avec la mutation du commerce international et la révolution de la conteneurisation, le port s'est spatialement éloigné de la ville. Si, dans les grandes villes portuaires, on assiste à une décon-nexion fonctionnelle progressive entre la ville et son port, qu'en est-il réellement dans les villes portuaires moyennes ? Après avoir proposé dans un premier temps une définition et une typologie des villes portuaires moyennes à l'échelle européenne, l'analyse textuelle d'une vingtaine d'entretiens réalisées auprès des principaux acteurs de six places portuaires européennes (Le Havre, Dunkerque, Nantes-Saint-Nazaire, Klaipeda, Kotka-Hamina et Gdynia) a permis dans un second temps de proposer une caractérisation fonctionnelle de la ville portuaire européenne moyenne dans un cadre territorial (gouvernance). |
