الوصف: Emotional self-regulation in preschool children encompasses the incipient acquisition of skills to identify and manage their emotions, laying the foundations for their emotional development and adaptation in social and school contexts. The present investigation maintained the main purpose of developing a plan of didactic activities that mean support for emotional management and self-regulation in children in the initial area of the Eloy Alfaro Educational Unit in the city of Bahía de Caráquez, the methodology uses the mixed approach (quantitative-qualitative) since the information obtained made it possible to disclose the relevant data on the study variables, descriptive research is included, in addition methods such as analytical, synthetic, according to the temporal scope, the study were used. It was cross-sectional, the study population consisted of 20 students corresponding to the total number of boys and girls from the initial area of the educational unit using the simple random probabilistic method, in addition to including the participation of the teacher from the initial area of the institution, the ability to communicate and reflect on emotions is mainly evidenced in children, regarding the identification of emotions in the activity and recognition of the situation that generates them, more than 65% of children show this ability , which indicates that the majority can identify the emotions they experience in various situations, on the other hand, Looking at the observation sheet, the results show a mixed picture regarding the emotional development of the child. ; La autorregulación emocional en niños de inicial abarca la adquisición incipiente de habilidades para identificar y manejar sus emociones, sentando las bases para su desarrollo emocional y adaptación en contextos sociales y escolares.
