الوصف: A novel optical method for enhancing nanopore-based single molecule detection is demonstrated. Microbeads containing DNA targets are optically trapped under a nanopore to locally increase the concentration. Thermally released DNAs are then detected electrically when moving through the pore at up to 91x higher rates.
