We have observed, using very long baseline interferometry (VLBI), some EGRET-identified AGN in the Southern Hemisphere: PKS 0208−512; PKS 0521−365; PKS 0537−441; PKS 1127−145; PKS 1622−253; PKS 1622−297; PKS 1730−130; and PKS 1908−201 as well as some prominent, compact southern radio sources which are not gamma-ray loud: PKS 0438−438; PKS 0637−752; and PKS 1921−293. We are searching for radio wavelength properties on parsec-scales which can distinguish between gamma-ray loud and gamma-ray quiet AGN. Such properties might include relativistic beaming indicators such as parsec-scale jet proper motions and radio core brightness temperatures, as well as parsec-scale to kiloparsec-scale jet bend angles.
