مستخلص: Among the mixed conducting perovskites, (BaxSr1-x)(CoyFe1-y)O3-d (BSCF) attracts special attention due to its exceptionally high effective oxygen incorporation rate constant. The structure of the dense BSCF thin films prepared by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) was investigated. Long-term stability of the cubic perovskite phase for different cation compositions at intermediate temperatures was evaluated. The surface resistance Rs associated with the oxygen incorporation reaction for different cation compositions was determined from impedance spectroscopy measurements on dense thin-film microelectrodes without interference from electrode morphology. The correlation between some bulk properties and Rs was studied.
