The article presents a case study of a two-week-old male intact Portuguese water dog with history of malaise admitted for necropsy at the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. The dog has been diagnosed with dome-shaped head, an opening of fontanels, and hydrocephalus. The findings describe the histomorphological changes of central hypothyroidism in several target organs of thyroid hormones in water dog. |
