The article presents a study which investigates the analytic and numerical models to predict oil-drainage rates during vapor-extraction (VAPEX) of heavy oils. It states that the input parameters of the analytical data were determined without history matching. It is inferred that a deficiency in the analytic model formulation results to underprediction of the oil-drainage rate |
