مستخلص: The article focuses on the changes in optical transmission induced by gamma ray stimulated coloring in photoluminescence dosimeter. The transmission of visible light and ultraviolet radiation was studied for a phosphate-glass photoluminescence dosimeter enlighted with 60carbon monoxide source gamma rays in the dose array of 1-60 water. Relative ratio of measured photoluminescence affirmed well with estimations that were computed from the transmission reduction of ultraviolet radiation. This fact shows that reduction of photoluminescence efficiency induced through high-dose gamma rays is attributable to the fading of the ultraviolet radiation from an excitation source.
