The article demonstrates how the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organisation's (CTBTO) seismograph data from Canada and Niger can significantly improve the depth estimates for two earthquakes, one in Sweden in 2008 and the other in Denmark in 2010. It describes the role of the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) and earthquake depth analysis using CTBTO array data. It cites data contributions to the International Monitoring System and the International Seismological Centre. |
