The article presents a study which examines the cross-sectional association of the 25-hydroxyvitamin D with prevalent radiographic hip osteoarthritis (OA) in elderly men. The study uses a group of elderly men wherein it undergo measurement of vitamin D using mass spectrometry to determine the serum measurement. The result shows that elderly man with insufficient Vitamin D are most to have radiographic hip OA rather than with normal Vitamin D. |
