مستخلص: We study the β decay from an even-even nucleus 124Ba to an odd-odd nucleus 124Cs in the interacting boson-fermion-fermion model (IBFFM). The even-even nucleus is described by the proton-neutron interacting boson model (IBM2) while the odd-odd nucleus is by the proton-neutron interacting boson-fermion-fermion model (IBFFM2). The result shows that the model is applicable to β-decay as well as the energy levels and the electromagnetic properties. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
