مستخلص: The article presents information on the frequent flyer programs of airlines. They have become as expected an amenity as baggage handling and cocktail service. The programs have gotten to the point that they cannot be ignored without people feeling a bit of a lunatic themselves for throwing money away, even if they don't travel all that often. Especially since almost all the programs are now open-ended. One can take years to rack up the mileage required for free passes and other bonuses. Free passes could start coming one's way at 10,000 to 20,000 miles.
