مستخلص: In this work, magnetite/titania/ZAA nanocomposite has been synthesized as a new adsorbent for heavy-metal Cu (II). The nanocomposite was characterized using atomic adsorption spectroscopy (AAS) instrument to investigate the value of the adsorption capacity. The results of the AAS analysis showed that the nanocomposite had a good adsorption efficiency of the heavy metal Cu (II) with an adsorption capacity value of 78.9% in a contact time of 90 minutes. The results obtained were analyzed using kinetic models and adsorption isotherms. The pseudo-first-order kinetic model had an R2 value of 0.964 and a pseudo-second-order R2 value of 0.999. The adsorption isotherm in this study was followed the Freundlich isotherm with R2 0.993 and the Langmuir isotherm with R2 0.974 to determine the adsorption characteristics of magnetite/titania/ZAA nanocomposite. Interestingly, the nanocomposite was easy to separate from contaminants in the adsorption process and had a speed in the absorption of heavy metal Cu (II). Therefore, the combination of magnetite with zeolite and titania with natural base materials such as iron sand and active natural zeolite has good potential for the development of a new adsorbent agent.
