مستخلص: Riphah International University in Pakistan is conducting a clinical trial, NCT06442371, to examine the effects of combining high-intensity interval training (HIIT) with Quranic listening meditation on cardiovascular fitness and mental health in obese adults. The study will involve 52 obese adults aged 18-45 years who have no prior experience with Quranic listening meditation. Participants will undergo HIIT sessions three days per week for six weeks, either with or without Quranic listening meditation. The trial aims to measure outcomes such as dyspnea, body mass index, peak VO2, heart rate recovery, depression, anxiety, stress, blood pressure, and blood lipid profile.
