مستخلص: A study conducted by Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in Iran compared the psychological distress, biochemical parameters, and metabolic syndrome components between normal-weight and overweight/obese women. The results showed that obese and overweight women had higher levels of psychological distress, metabolic syndrome components, and inflammation compared to normal-weight women.
