Despite progress in LGBTQ+ rights, transgender people continue to experience disproportionate levels of violence and discrimination. It also highlights the low trust in government institutions among LGBTQ+ people, the abuse experienced by detained individuals, and the bias and discrimination faced by transgender people in courts and prisons.
