This article describes the implementation of a diabetes technology educational program targeting continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) adoption that significantly increased utilization of CGM in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at the University of Florida. The author proposes that diabetes care and education specialists (DCESs) are uniquely positioned in the health care ecosystem to serve as diabetes technology champions.
