مستخلص: The ability of numeracy literacy is one of the skills a person in survive. The education curriculum in Indonesia is currently intensive in developing literacies, including numeracy literacy. This means that Mathematics Teachers are also ready with their numeracy literacy skills to be able to share them with their students. This study aims to explore the numeracy literacy skills of preservice mathematics teachers. The participants in this study were Preservice Mathematics Teachers in Semester II who had received the geometry course. The research approach used is descriptive and qualitative. Data collection techniques using tests and document analysis. The data analysis technique uses thematic analysis, while the validity of the data uses triangulation, member checking, and reflexivity. The results showed that participants tend to understand mathematics as a procedural aspect of numeracy literacy skills that are still difficult for preservice mathematics teachers to master, which is the ability to understand the context of the problem or the ability to formulate contextual problems. A possible way that may be applied in institutions is by providing numeracy literacy courses for preservice mathematics teacher [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
