The article reports that Goteborg Energi of Sweden has opened the Rya combined heat and power plant in Gothenburg. The natural gas-fired plant which was constructed by Siemens Power Generation, will save 92.5 percent of the carbon dioxide emissions. It will also supply one-third of the heating demand and 30 percent of the power requirements. |
