مستخلص: This document summarizes a study on the long-term effects of job search assistance (JSA) for the long-term unemployed. The study found that JSA initially had positive effects on employment rates and reduced unemployment benefits for participants. However, after one year, the employment gains disappeared and turned negative in the third year. The study suggests that JSA may lead to less stable jobs and higher rates of job loss in the long run. The findings caution against relying solely on JSA for lasting employment gains. [Extracted from the article]
