This article presents information related to Airtours that is introducing Brazil, Croatia and Djerba, in Tunisia, for 2006. Airtours joins Thomson and First Choice in starting charter programmes to Brazil next summer in 2005. The addition of Djerba and Croatia reflects the increasing demand for medium-haul, non-eurozone countries. Despite the trend towards self-packaging, head of sales Jane Atkins claimed the MyTravel-owned operator is committed to packages and is not planning to introduce component-based brochures. |
