مستخلص: The article discusses curriculum-based assessment to determine eligibility of children with disabilities. Determination of eligibility is guided by federal law, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act and state law. Federal law provides the classifications of which children are eligible for early intervention and for early childhood special education, but each state and federal jurisdiction is responsible for the exact definition of eligibility and designation of diagnostic instruments or procedures to be used.
