Receiving toxic advice not only does not aid in acquiring knowledge in any area of information technology, but also alienates beginner users and developers. It can be assumed that due to the normalization of a certain tone of communication among IT specialists, many simply do not notice that their answers intimidate less experienced people. There is a certain elitisation of IT professionals in society, whose knowledge many experienced specialists in other areas consider absolutely unattainable, let alone young people choosing their future profession. This leads to a shortage of personnel in software development. This means that employers will expect a greater effect from a smaller number of employees, buying their professionalism at the expense of their physical and psychological health. This study has shown that the most difficult to respond to "toxicity" students, beginners the age of 17-22 years. The discomfort of toxic advice is experienced by those who have just started (or have not started) their careers. The importance of the study showed the need to obtain advanced knowledge in the field of IT from competent teachers.
