A man in his 40s experienced nausea and dehydration while undergoing treatment for dedifferentiated liposarcoma with doxorubicin and ifosfamide. Prior to this, he had complained of various symptoms and was diagnosed with dedifferentiated liposarcoma. He underwent portal vein embolisation and hepatic vein embolisation, which resulted in liver hypertrophy. After starting chemotherapy, he developed chemotherapy-related nausea and dehydration and was admitted to the hospital. He received fluid therapy and antiemetic treatment, and his subsequent scans showed stable tumor size and liver hypertrophy. [Extracted from the article] |
