In a case report published in Reactions Weekly, a study involving 70 adult women found that one woman experienced nausea and vomiting after receiving bupivacaine as anesthesia during delivery. The woman, whose exact age was not stated, had a singleton pregnancy and underwent a lower segment caesarian section.
