الوصف: This research contributes by identifying factors contributing to increasing the subjective well-being of children in residential centers of Chile and Peru, allowing for their inclusion in children's intervention plans. This research is composed of two studies: The first aims to examine the relationship between self-control and subjective well-being, looking at the moderating effect of positive day-to-day activities shared by the residential centre educators with young people from a bottom-up perspective In the second study, we assess the relationship between the perceived abuse or negligence of school teachers and the subjective well-being of children and adolescents who live in residential care centers of Peru. Conclusions relating to the design and planning of socio-educational actions in the residence following a social-ecological model are proposed. They consider the implementation of positive activities from a therapeutic approach as a way to counter the effects on the subjective well-being of abuses in children and adolescents. The support of educators and residence workers is fundamental to protect and increase the subjective well-being of children and adolescents in residential care.
الوصف (مترجم): l'objectiu principal és identificar factors que contribueixin a augmentar el benestar subjectiu dels nens, nenes i adolescents en els centres residencials de Xile i Perú, de manera que siguin identificats i considerats en el disseny dels plans d' intervenció de les residències. Per assolir aquesta fita es realitzen dos estudis dins d'aquesta investigació. El primer té com a objectius, per una banda, examinar la relació entre l'autocontrol i el benestar subjectiu, i per l’altra, observar l'efecte moderador de les activitats positives del dia a dia que comparteixen els i les educadores de la residència amb els nens, nenes i adolescents des d'una perspectiva del bottom-up. En el segon estudi, el objectiu tracta de comprovar l'efecte que té l'abús o negligència per part de professorat de les escoles sobre el benestar subjectiu dels nens, nenes i adolescents que viuen en centres residencials del Perú. Les discussions i conclusions tenen relació amb el disseny i planificació de l'acció socioeducativa en la residència considerant les activitats positives des d'un enfocament terapèutic i en l'ordre d'eliminar els abusos, seguint un model social ecològic en què el suport dels educadors.
