الوصف: Hypothesis: Wrestlers will show better results of self-control and willpower qualities. The aim of the study: Investigate and determine willpower qualities and self-control among wrestlers and boxers. The tasks of the study: 1. Identify and compare the willpower qualities of the wrestlers and boxers. 2. To reveal and compare peculiarities of self-control among wrestlers and boxers. The object of the research: charecteristics of willpower and self-control abilities among wrestlers and boxers. The object of study is being chosen because it has to mirror the theme and purpose of the work and there must be a harmony between them. Research methods: analysis of literature, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, Student’s t-test. Survey planning: The study was conducted in October - November 2018. 18 - 35 year old wrestlers and boxers were investigated. A total of 96 respondents participated in the study. The results of the survey. Using the questionnaire methodology, two analyzes were performed in this work; self-control and willpower. After self-control analysis, it was found that boxers had an insignificantly higher level according to the parameter State Self-control than wrestlers t (89) = -0.31; p> 0.05. Using the Student's t criterion for independent samples, it was found that wrestlers have significantly higher levels of Social Self-control than boxers t (89) = 2.2; p <0.05. The characteristics of the willpower - responsibility, initiative, determination, autonomy, patience, persistence, vigor, attentiveness, expediency were investigated. Using the Student's t criterion, it was found that Responsibility factor among wrestlers and boxers varies statistically significantly t (89) = 2.46; p <0.05. Using the Student's t criterion between wrestlers and boxers, a statistically significant difference t (89) = 2.01 p <0.05 was found by Initiative factor. According to the Student's t criterion, no significant differences between wrestlers and boxers were found t (89) = 1.74; p> 0.05 by Expediency ...
