مستخلص: Misconceptions can occur in one of the subject matter of chemistry lessons, namely the material of chemical bonds, this is due to its abstract and tiered nature. Detection of misconceptions can be done using a web-based four-tier test format diagnostic test. This study aims to analyze the validation results of a web-based four-level test developed for each sub-concept. The type and research approach used is development or Research and Development (R&D). The data sources in this study were four expert lecturers (3 subject matter expert lecturers, 1 media expert lecturer), and 67 students X MIPA MAN 2 Hulu Sungai Tengah. The development model used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) which is carried out only up to the Development stage to find out the validation results. Data collection techniques consisted of questionnaires from material experts and media experts, as well as documentation. The data analysis technique is a validity test. The results of the material expert validity were 92% with a very valid category, the results of the empirical external validity test contained less than 10%, which means it was valid. The results of the construct empirical validity of the 18 questions tested, there are 16 questions that are valid. The results of the validity of media experts on the aspect of visual appearance are 91% with the criteria of "very valid", on the linguistic aspect of 100% with the criteria of "very valid", and on the application aspect of 90% with the criteria of "very valid". The conclusion is that the web-based four-tier diagnostic test on chemical bonding material is feasible to use to analyze students' misconceptions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
