مستخلص: | Nanotechnology is one of the most essential technology applicable in all areas of science. Several physical and chemical methods were used for synthesizing and stabilizing nanomaterials. Many researchers and scientists have confirmed that these methods are not eco-friendly and are harmful to the environment and human health. Thus, many of them have moved to a modern nanoscience called "green nanotechnology". The aim of green nanotechnology is to produce nanomaterials which will not cause damage to the environment. Also, the synthesized nanomaterials can be effectively used to tackle major environmental issues like energy crisis and pollution. In this review, we have discussed the different biological sources for synthesis of nanomaterials. We have also discussed in detail the efficiencies of various nanomaterials in improving the quality of the environment. Largely, this review focuses on the fact that nanotechnology has a big role to play in enhancing environmental sustainability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
