الوصف: Thermochemical energy storage (TCES) materials have garnered significant attention in recent years, owing to their high energy storage density and extended storage capabilities. Ferromanganese oxide is considered a promising material for TCES due to its suitable reaction temperature. However, efficiency tends to decrease over repeated cycles due to the particle agglomeration during the oxidation process. This work investigates the mechanism in which the low surface energy of the system reduces the agglomeration force of particles, thereby preventing sintering. By doping low-surface energy materials, the particle size is maintained at 3.2 μm and the reoxidation efficiency remains at 99.8% even after the 100th cycle. The study highlights the potential of Fe 2 O 3 , (Mn 0.95 Si 0.05 ) 2 O 3 , and Mn 2 P 2 O 7 in enhancing the efficiency of TCES materials during prolonged operation.
